Why I started this blog: I moved from So. Cal. to No. VA

After living my whole life in Southern California, I've been transferred to Washington, D.C.  I've had a number of observations about life here in the Commonwealth and thought they might be of use to those who follow.  So I decided to start a blog.  I have no commitment about how frequently I will post, but when I find something interesting, I'll post something.  So, dude, if you're not moving from LA to DC, you are probably not inerested.
